The drive behind White Owl Design
Meikel Mortensen has been a creative soul since childhood. Whether through drawing or dancing, she has always found a way to transform her ideas into something uniquely her own. Her passion for construction and design merges her two greatest loves: personal expression and building.
Meikel believes everyone deserves a place where they can unapologetically be themselves—a sanctuary where they feel safe, at peace, and truly comfortable. And she believes, with all her heart, that this place should be their home.
A home, to Meikel, is more than just a structure—it should be a space built to meet the unique needs of the people who live there. From practical function to emotional comfort, the design should reflect those who occupy it. "I want to change the way people relate to their homes. At the end of the day, my goal is to create spaces where people can recharge and re-center. I want them to step out in the morning, ready to face whatever the world throws at them; knowing that when they return in the evening, it won’t be just to a house—they’ll be coming home.
